Eva HarriS

Eva Harris is the visionary behind The Beauty Lounge Salon and MedSpa, a premier destination for beauty and wellness in Carmel, Indiana. With nearly two decades of experience in the industry, Eva has built a reputation for excellence, specializing in hand-tied hair extensions and lived-in hair coloring techniques.

Originally from Huntington, Indiana, Eva’s journey in beauty began at Kaye’s Beauty College in Noblesville, followed by a two-year apprenticeship at David and Mary Salon and Spa. Her relentless pursuit of education has led her to train with some of the most respected names in the industry, earning certifications in numerous cutting-edge techniques and product lines.

In 2012, Eva launched The Beauty Lounge, growing it into a 5,000 sq. ft. salon and medspa with 20+ employees and an annual revenue of $1 million. After a decade of success, she sold the business in 2022 to focus on her private clientele. Throughout her career, Eva’s work has been featured in renowned publications such as Modern Salon, Salon Today, and Indianapolis Monthly, and she has been recognized as an Indianapolis Monthly Top Stylist since the age of 21.

Eva’s philosophy is simple: enhancing natural beauty while providing a luxurious, relaxing experience. She believes in continuous education, personalized service, and ensuring every client leaves feeling their absolute best.

Joey

Joey grew up in Huntington, Indiana, as a small-town kid who loved sports from an early age. His father coached him from the age of five, and he spent much of his youth playing basketball, football, and baseball. Most of his free time was spent at the YMCA and local parks with neighborhood friends, playing ball until dark.

After high school, Joey attended Indiana University, where he earned his B.S. in Business from the Kelley School in 2008, with a concentration in Marketing. After a decade in sales and client relations, he realized his 
true passion was helping and serving others.

2019, Joey joined The Beauty Lounge, where he learned the foundations of hair and skin care from industry experts. His extroverted and outgoing personality has helped him build strong connections with clients, going beyond just names and numbers to develop meaningful relationships. He strives to provide a professional and relaxed environment where every client feels comfortable and confident as their beauty needs are met.

With over a decade of experience in salon, spa, and beauty retail management, Jade Holmes is a seasoned professional dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences and operational excellence. As Guest Relations at The Beauty Lounge, she has played a pivotal role in maintaining the luxury salon’s high standards, overseeing scheduling, client relations, inventory management, and staff coordination.

Jade’s expertise extends to retail beauty management, having led operations and merchandising teams at Ulta Beauty and Nordstrom. Her deep understanding of product merchandising, sales strategy, and team leadership has contributed to the success of multiple beauty businesses. She has also managed high-end beauty counters, including Lancôme and Tom Ford, where she built strong client relationships and exceeded sales goals.

Beyond operations, Jade is passionate about bridal beauty and loves creating flawless, long-lasting makeup looks for brides on their special day. Her attention to detail, artistry, and ability to enhance natural beauty make her a sought-after wedding makeup artist.

With an Associate’s degree in Business Administration and a deep love for the beauty industry, Jade excels in optimizing salon and spa operations, enhancing client retention, and curating a luxurious customer experience. Whether managing a medspa or perfecting a bride’s wedding day glow, she brings expertise, creativity, and dedication to every aspect of beauty.

Maya

Maya’s passion for hairstyling has been a guiding force throughout her life. After a brief period at Eckerd College, she embraced her true calling by enrolling at the Paul Mitchell School in Denver, where she graduated and obtained her cosmetology license in May 2023. Following her certification, Maya returned to Indiana to collaborate with her aunt, Eva Harris, a respected figure in the local beauty community.

Originally from Noblesville, Indiana, Maya moved to Denver at the age of nine, completing her formative years there. Her early fascination with hair has evolved into a dedicated career focused on personalized service. She takes pride in understanding each client’s unique preferences and lifestyle, crafting styles that enhance their natural beauty and confidence.

Committed to continuous learning, Maya stays updated with the latest industry trends and techniques. Her blend of professionalism and genuine care ensures that every client feels valued and leaves the salon with a renewed sense of self-assurance. Maya looks forward to welcoming you to the salon, where her expertise and creativity promise an exceptional and tailored hair experience.

As a real respected Make up and Hair Color Expert and Co-Owner of “David and Mary” - The Salon Experience, Mary Miller has provided countless make up services for Seventeen Magazine, CNN, ABC, NBS, Meet the Press, as well as political figures including President George Bush and celebrities such as Joan Rivers.

Mary’s real passion consists of providing clients a down to earth, livable approach to wearing make up to look and feel their very best, at any age. With her keen sense of Color, Mary is able to combine her talents of Make Up artistry and Hair Color Expertise to provide the client a unique experience that results in a total look that compliments their hair color as well as their make up. Her keen approach to working with different Lifestyles has been instrumental in the creation of the “David and Mary” Skin Care and Cosmetic Line which they use every day in their salon as well as retail for their clients’ home care.

Gabbi

Gabrielle has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2017 and graduated with honors academics from Paul Mitchell the School Indianapolis. She specializes in lived in coloring, dimensional brunettes and blondes. Gabbi has a fun, bubbly personality and is a great listener. She is sure to deliver the color and cut you have in mind! She prides herself on attention to detail and getting to know her guests on a personal level. When she is not working behind the chair, she is chasing around her 2 year old and hanging out with friends and family. She loves all things natural living and being a homebody. She is currently accepting new clients and would love to see you in her chair!

Angela

As a licensed cosmetologist, I specialize in creating beautiful dimensional color and blonding transformations. I’m passionate about helping my clients leave the salon feeling confident and refreshed. Since graduating from Paul Mitchell in 2018, I’ve focused on continually expanding my knowledge and perfecting my craft through hands-on experience and education. Choosing me as your stylist means you’ll receive honest, empathetic care and the highest level of professionalism. I believe in building trust through open communication and making every client feel valued. Beyond the salon, I’m blessed to share my life with my husband of 4 years and our 4 adorable pets. I love thrifting, worshiping, and traveling, and I’m always on the lookout for new ways to grow both personally and professionally. I am currently accepting new clients, I would absolutely love to have you in my chair!!

Candace

Candace Mastruserio brings over 20 years of expertise to the beauty industry, specializing in dimensional color services, Brazilian blowouts, and precision cutting for both women and men’s short styles. Her passion for creating personalized looks, combined with her exceptional customer service and communication skills, ensures every guest leaves her chair feeling confident and beautiful.

Beyond the salon, Candace cherishes time with her handsome Marine husband and their four beautiful daughters, ages 13 to 3. Together, they find joy in cooking and baking new recipes, as well as embracing the great outdoors through camping and adventure-filled family time. Her love for creativity and connection shines through in both her work and home life, making her a stylist who truly understands the art of beauty and balance.

david

David Miller has developed a reputation in Indianapolis/Carmel as the authority on cosmetic skin care and spa management, having been the first aesthetician to be inducted into Intercoiffure U.S.A., the most influential organization in the Beauty Industry. His knowledge of professional skin care was called upon by Indiana Governor Evan Bayh when he was asked to develop the curriculum for a separate skin care license in the state of Indiana for aesthetics. What followed was a seven year term on the Indiana Professional Licensing Board and many years of acting as an examiner for State Board aesthetic examinations. Mir. Miller is called upon regularly as an expert in the aesthetic field for clarifications, articles in professional publications, and industry related matters. Mr. Miller works to bridge the gap between medical aesthetics and salon-based skin care by introducing innovative and results-driven.

Sheryl

My career started as a Molecular Research Scientist co-publishing work in Gene therapy protocols that led to clinical trials. I then went on to pursue my passion of hands-on patient care and obtained a second Master’s degree practicing over 23 years as a Physician Assistant.

I have worked in Emergency Medicine, Orthopedics, Plastic Surgery, Personalized Wellness and Regenerative Medicine, and since 2006 as a Master injector working alongside top plastic surgeons before starting my own practice.

It was out of my passion for injectables, skin care and medical esthetics that I opened New Med Spa in 2016. I am an Allergan Medical Institute Trainer which represents the top 5% of all injectors in the country. I am also a primary owner and part of the TruHealth Medical team which provides personal wellness and regenerative medicine.

I truly enjoy patient care, education and making my clients look and feel good about the aging process. I look forward to personally meeting you.

Allie Mann is a passionate and skilled Eyelash Extension Artist with nearly a decade of experience in the beauty industry. A graduate of Aveda Cosmetology School in 2017, Allie began her journey with lash artistry in 2016 and has since become a 3X trained expert in custom lash extensions. Her meticulous attention to detail and ability to tailor each set to complement any eye shape make her a sought-after artist in her field.

Allie takes immense pride in delivering top-notch customer service, ensuring that every client leaves not only with stunning lashes but also feeling confident and valued. Her dedication to perfection and personalized care has earned her a loyal clientele who appreciate her artistry and warm, welcoming approach.

Outside of her professional life, Allie cherishes time with her husband, a dedicated firefighter with the Indianapolis Fire Department. Married since 2022, they share a beautiful son, born in 2024, along with her beloved bonus son. When she’s not creating flawless lash sets, you can find Allie indulging in her favorite pastimes—shopping, traveling, binge-watching reality TV, spending quality time with her family, and exploring new restaurants.

With her expertise, passion, and commitment to excellence, Allie is excited to bring her talents to the salon and medspa, helping clients achieve their dream lashes with every appointment.

Gwen Marie

Gwen Marie is known for her expertise in tailored cuts and luxury color services, using both Goldwell and Schwarzkopf color lines. She specializes in creating effortlessly dimensional color, with a niche in natural-looking color that grows out seamlessly.

A top graduate of Freestyle Academy for Hair, Gwen’s exceptional talent was recognized immediately upon graduation, earning her a coveted position at G Michael Salon—ranked the #1 salon in Indiana and among the top 200 salons nationwide. There, Gwen honed her craft alongside some of the industry's most elite stylists, quickly building a reputation for her artistry, precision, and dedication to excellence.

Her commitment to growth and innovation is reflected in her passion for continued education. Gwen has attended classes from some of the most influential names in the industry, including Sal Salcedo, Natalie McKell, Lexi Dawn, Gina Sicard, and leading brands such as Hanzo, Oribe, and R+Co. She has also stepped into the role of educator, sharing her expertise and techniques through classes of her own.

Following the closing of G Michael Salon, Gwen continued her work a other salons and now at The Beauty Lounge, where she continues to deliver elevated, custom experiences in a luxury, inviting atmosphere. Between Gwen’s meticulous eye, perfectionist nature, and her contagious positive energy, clients leave feeling confident, a laugh, and looking forward to their next visit.

Kelsey

Kelsey's hair journey started in the fall of 2019 with a major switch in careers. Spending most of her 20s as a social worker, Kelsey was always the friend styling everyone's hair for social and formal events. When it was time to make a change, she knew pursuing a career in the hair industry was the right move.

Kelsey attended cosmetology school at Aveda Fredric's Institute in Indianapolis, Indiana. Upon graduation, she began work behind the chair at a prestigious salon ranked #1 in Indiana and top 200 salons in the U.S.. At this salon, Kelsey received high caliber training in creating bright blended blondes, lived-in brunettes, and precision cutting. She excelled at delivering these services. Upon its closure, Kelsey worked in other salons where she continued to perfect her skills through attending continued education with top industry artists. She also became an educating stylist, teaching classes to newly graduated stylists andadvanced assistants.

Kelsey is best known for her bright blondes, effortless brunettes, and low maintenance color that grows out seamlessly. She also loves client education and coaching those in her chair with product recommendations and styling tips so that you can recreate your salon look at home. Each color and cut she does is customized to the client's lifestyle needs and wants. She believes great hair should be accessible to all and not just on your salon days.In Kelsey's chair, you can expect to feel like you're hanging with a friend and chatting about podcasts, all things true-crime and reality TV, and whatever niche Tik-Tok topic she's decided to obsess about thatweek. Kelsey's warm and infectious personality, combined with the luxury and elevated environment of The Beauty Lounge, makes for a salon experience you'll want to keep coming back to.
